It's been really quiet here so....

I just read n the home page that this scum bag Magdalena Mashshie ripped off 30,000 from Medicaid and as long as she pays it back she wont do any time.   WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH THE LAW???

So if I am understanding this correctly I can go steal 50,000 (and boy could I use it) and it's mine unless I get caught... in which case I just have to pay it back and I wont be in any trouble?  What a great message to send to people.
the comments that she has sold all her assets and borrowing money from family- is that suppose to make me feel bad for a theif? that is essentially what she is. How sickening that there are people in serious need of Medicaid and health care of any sort and yet so many get an undeserved free ride from the system.

If she has take the services and can't pay it back, does she go to jail then? Not in NY

Possibly, but doubtful. Paying it back should be required on top of a sentence. Gotta love the law, theives, child molesters and drunk drivers get a slap on the wrist. Where as stupid crap like speeding or smoking a joint, you get the book thrown at you.  Ridiculous. I'm all for humilation I think she should spend her jail free time wearing a sign showing everyone what a lowlife she is. Stealing from social services is the lowest of low.

When she pays back the money she will be eligible to run for state office.  You have to qualify for those state jobs.

No its not ok to steal but people do it and never get caught. Medicaid will eventually catch up with her they always do because medicaid always feels that they shouldn't pay for a dime. Medicaid will evenutally do something about it. It may not be right away but it will be soon.

How do i figure that it is OK TO STEAL?

Look at the facts.....

SOMEONE ON WELFARE ONLY INCOME....

They get paid little per month & NONE OF THEIR FOOD STAMPS CAN BE USED FOR SMOKING, TOILITRIES, AND ANY RESTRAUNT FOODS [and any take out foods]

THEY CAN WORK BUT if they make $100.00 for one week...
THEY GET TAXED THE NORMAL RATES... State, City, Federal. SO now for sake of an argument they now have $80.00 left for one week....
WELFARE TAKES OUT 1 penny for every 2 pennies you make.  OK...
WELFARE TAKES OUT $1.00 for ever $2.00 you make.
THUS Out of $100.00 for the week MADE AT SOME JOB... =minus city, state, federal taxes LETS SAY THEY HAVE $80.00 LEFT AND THEN AFTER WELFARE DEDUCTION ON $100.00 MEANS $30.00 take home to spend on yourself for the week.

BUT THAT MEANS YOU MIGHT SPEND THAT MUCH FOR BUS MONEY [going to work & from work] for the week.... AND for any lunch money for the week.... AND by the end you might actually LOOSE $$$ TRYING TO MAKE THE $$$

THAT IS NOT RIGHT... SO to STEAL BACK SO THEY CAN MAKE ENDS MEET....

YIPPIEEE!!!!! OK... More power to them.

I SHOULD KNOW.... BEFORE THE WELFARE REVAMP i was living in the welfare system and i tooo have to STEAL BACK TO MAKE ENDS MEET BECAUSE I WAS LOOSING $25.00 PER WEEK TO MAKE $30.00 PER WEEK and i only got $80 EVERY 2 WEEKS and using the FOOD STAMPS... [now credit card that does NOT ROLL OVER AND CONTINUE WITH THE FOOD CREDIT TO THE NEXT MONTH.... PITIFUL BUT A LITTLE BETTER THAN THE STAMPS]

So to steal back what the poor person is getting RIPPED OFF BY WELFARE is ok....
TO ME THEY NEED TO REVAMP WELFARE AGAIN....
1 = NEVER USE GROSS PAY....
2 = USE NET PAY AFTER CITY, STATE, FEDERAL TAXES ARE TAKEN OUT [those are the must taxes that the working person has no control over BUT ALL OTHER TAXES & FEES PAID AFTER THEY GET THE MONEY OR OPT IN TO SOME COMPANY TO HAVE TAKEN OUT FOR MEDICAL]  THEN they can take include those in NET PAY FOR WELFARE USE.
3 = THEN HELP THE PERSON before they end up so broke that their only means of income is WELFARE or some other state, federal welfare system.

MY IDEA is based upon the FIX something before it tottaly breaks to the point of DISCARD IT method. And with people... THE discard method don't work so well. OR THEN YOU DO HAVE TO STEAL BACK WHAT WAS SO RUDELY TAKEN IN THE STATE, FEDERAL MISGUIDED METHOD OF HELPING YOU OUT WHEN YOU HIT ROCK BOTTOM.
