Is the current fund drive  legit? I received a phone call requesting a donation to the Onondaga County Sheriffs' Association. After agreeing to make a donation, I received a form letter and a card to return with my donation. However, the address and phone number do not match the info on their website. I left a message on the website phone number asking for verification of the fund drive but have not received a return call. What's the real deal?

Sorry we did not get back sooner. We did finally get a call from the sheriff's office. They were using an organization that does ask for donations. Not sure what percentage the sheriff's dept. gets from them. But it is legit.
