Which is cheaper fans or air conditioning?

Well let me paint a picture for everyone. If the Temperature is in the 70s Generally just a Box Fan or Window fan will do unless it is humid. I find that running a fan for 8 hours is cheaper then running an air conditioner unless it is really hot out. I personally would use the air conditioner if the temperature is in the 90s to near 100 degrees because I have a heart condition and I am at high risk to have heat related illnesses. It only costs a few cents per hour to run a fan for 8 hours and to run that air conditioner in your window can get pretty expensive so it is worth it to run the fan in more normal temperatures from the 70s to 80s versus running the air conditioner.
