Course description:

Learn techniques and traditions of journaling from Linda Loomis, SUNY Oswego journalism professor, when she leads a three-part series on journal writing at the library.  The class will meet June 11, 18 and 25 from 6-8 p.m.  Participants will explore the journal as a record book, a dream catcher, a clarifier of ideas, and a healer of hurts. The immediate benefits and long-term rewards of keeping a journal will be discussed.  Writers will be invited, but not required, to share a few sentences or paragraphs of their work at each session.  Registration is required by calling the library at 676-7484.
