Canoeing/Kayaking on Beaver Lake

A fun outdoor activity for the family this spring and summer is canoeing or

kayaking on Beaver Lake. Visitors will explore the lake’s edge in search

of beaver lodges, turtles, herons and birds of prey. Now through September

1 canoeing/kayaking is held on Saturdays from 9 to 4 p.m. and Sundays from

12 to 4 p.m. Paddlers may bring their own canoe/kayak or rent one from the Nature Center. Rental rates are $8 per hour and $2 for each additional half hour. Rental is on a first come basis, and no canoe/kayak will be rented after 4 p.m. All canoes must be off the lake by 5 p.m.

Canoeing/Kayaking is subject to safe conditions and the Center reserves the right to cancel. Please call ahead to confirm availability.There is a $2 per car admission to Beaver Lake Nature Center.
