Syracuse Children's Chorus Presents Dancing Through History
Come experience exciting folk music from around the world as the Syracuse Children’s Chorus performs a collection of songs celebrating the art of dance. Each of the four choirs will sing and dance to songs celebrating the art of dance, including Skip to My Lou, Dance Laddie, Boatman’s Dance, and Sesere eeye, an Australian folk song with percussion. The concert will also include pieces by Handel, Bach, Bartók and Papoulis. A guest performance by Samba Laranja: The SU Brazilian Ensemble will feature all four choirs in a song and dance number sure to have the audience in the aisles dancing for joy!
This concert is funded in part by the John Ben Snow Foundation, Community Bank, N.A., and Syracuse Orthopedic Specialists.
