POLITE PIZZA PARTY
Polite Pizza Party Registration
There will be a Polite Pizza Party with Mr. Manners for children ages 7-12, Saturday, May 10, 11-12:30 that will incorporate role playing, props, and games as a way to refresh children’s manners and etiquette for everyday life. Fee: $20 (includes pizza and drink). Location: Dewitt Community Church, Rm. # 13 (this program is not affiliated with the church). Must register in advance by calling 430-2715 or emailing: pknittel1@yahoo.com. Please put “Manners” in the subject line.
The Polite Pizza Party is a fun-filled refresher course in common manners and that uses role-playing with props such hats, stuffed animals, and telephones; games that have the children are up and moving, and a Polite Pizza Party to cover the basis of table manners and conversation.
Topics include: Why Use Manners?, Please and Thank You, Introductions, Thank You Notes, Conversational Skills, Phone Etiquette, Table Manners, Good Sportsmanship, Common Courtesies (holding open a door, offering assistance, etc.), and Manners in Public Places (malls, theaters, etc.).
Mr. Manners (Paul Knittel) is a former public school teacher and currently teaches biology at Cayuga Community College. Mr. Knittel believes that we can all be better people simply through better manners. Programs available for individuals, groups and schools
