Meet and Greet A Possum Named Sonia!
Visit the Milton J. Rubenstein Museum of Science & Technology (MOST) in historic Armory Square at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday the first of May to have the opportunity to become acquainted with and touch a real, live possum!
The meet and greet, being held at the Live Stage in the Main Exhibit Hall of the MOST, will be hosted by Donna Fritz, who will bring in her own possum, Sonia. Fritz will be both supervising the event and educating her audience on these unique animals.
Possums are small to medium-sized marsupials, native to Australia, New Guinea and Sulawesi, whose role in the Australian ecosystem compares to that of the squirrels in the northern hemisphere.
The event will be open to the public and free with museum admission. For questions, please contact Betty Jones at the MOST at bjones@most.org o (315) 425-9068 x2143.
