A Visit to Cornell Plantations and Bakers' Acres
Beaver Lake Nature Center is leading a trip to Cornell Plantations and Bakers’ Acres on Thursday, May 15 from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Cornell Plantations is a museum of living plants that includes the arboretum and botanical garden of Cornell University. Plants native to New York grow in the wildflower garden and a network of trails affords an opportunity for hiking and nature study. Bakers’ Acres is one of the largest herb and perennial growers in Central New York. Lunch will be in Bakers’ Acres Country Garden Tea Room. The price is $50 and includes transportation, admissions, and lunch. Advance registration is required.
