Six Upstate New York organizations with expertise in manufacturing, technology, energy, the environment and social entrepreneurship have joined forces to present the second annual Accelerate 2008 conference. Accelerate 2008 offers an environment for effective networking with leaders, innovators and forward-thinking professionals and an opportunity to educate consumers, promote exciting products and technologies and foster innovative solutions that impact economic vitality, social equity and environmental stewardship in our region and beyond.

Format
The day-long program will be conducted at the Nicholas J. Pirro Convention Center at Oncenter in Syracuse. In conjunction with the diverse range of workshop tracks, attendees will experience new developments, products and exciting projects in our exhibit hall and student gallery.
WCNY's George Kilpatrick will serve as the Master of Ceremonies for the morning program, where Jeremy Gutsche, an innovation expert taking businesses to the 'forefront of cool' and founder of Trendhunter.com, will deliver the Morning Keynote. News Channel 9's, Carrie Lazarus, will serve as the Mistress of Ceremonies for the afternoon program, where Charles Fishman, Fast Company magazine's award-winning journalist and author of the New York Times Bestseller, "The Walmart Effect", will deliver the Luncheon Keynote.
