S.U. Orange

SU Shocker, Outstanding Performance vs Louisville

Did anyone really see this coming? The team was around a five touchdown underdog all week. Instead, SU put up five touchdowns and added a field goal for a 38-35 victory against No. 18 ranked Louisville.

Andrew Robinson threw for a career-high 423 yards and four touchdowns.

Taj Smith caught four passes for 173 yards and two touchdowns for the Orange as Syracuse ended Louisville's 20-game home winning streak by dominating the listless Cardinals.

The victory was Syracuse's first road conference win and first victory over a ranked team since beating Boston College at the end of the 2004 season.

Talk about the game fans!

We see what the WEST COAST OFFENSE is all about.  Could this be the turning point in the season that we've all been hoping for?

Great job coach.  Kudos to the team, job well done.  I want to ask a question to all of the cry babies out there who question this team week in and week out.

Can you remember the last time a quarterback threw the ball for 423 yards and 4 touchdowns?

Syracuse dominated this game from the outset.

Well done. Th coaches finally came with an aggressive game plan and it worked. Let's hopefully keep up the same mentality. I believe  that most fans don't expect a winning season this year but improvement in each game they play. If SU can do that, then it will be a successful year and one to build upon for next season.

did louisville show up; they must of read the papers about  su  before theyn played. i never saw so many receivers open 5-10 yards since we played cba  . su  payed great ; give everyone credit including the coaches for an outstanding job. the future may produce 6 wins in a couple seasons. someday 20 years from now, robinson may get his 50th win. recruiting is a stumbling block we may never recover to reach 10 win status.

It may very well be that Louisville came into the game figuring this would be an easy walk in the park and got the surprise of their life.  SU looked awesome out there!!  I think that this is definitely a turn for the better.  Keep it up coach!!!

Not many defenses are as bad as Louisville(maybe Syracuse) so I'm not getting too excited yet.  When the defense puts together a few stops and the O-line blocks a quality defense, then I will start to feel good about the Orange.  It was nice to see the boys in Orange score some points though.

This blog is a great idea. However, the person(s) in charge of keeping it seems to have taken the month of October off. 4 games have been played since the last posted score on this website. C'mon Channel 9 its October 28th not September 28th!
