Clemens Denies Steroids Claims; Sues Former Trainer

In his first interview since being implicated for steroid use in baseball's Mitchell report, Roger Clemens says he might be willing to take a lie-detector test to prove he hasn't.

He also says he was "shocked" to find out that close friend Andy Pettitte used human growth hormone.

Clemens has filed a defamation suit against a former trainer who claims Clemens used steroids.

Did you see the 60 Minutes interview? Do you believe him? Leave your comments below?

I would like to know why the US government is involved at all with pro baseball?
Aren't pro baseball teams privately owned and operated? I don't believe that tax payers should be paying for government funded commities to investage steroid use by these players. If the law has been broken, it should be handled by the police in the teams city. The team owners should be handling this problem, not the government. What a waste of tax payers money. They have more important things to do.
