NFL Network Spat Costing NFL Fans Games

The NFL and dozens of cable companies across the country, including Time Warner Cable, have been in a dispute going on two years now. Its over the NFL Network. The NFL wants it put on standard cable... the cable companies want it to be on a digital tier that fans would pay for if they wanted it.

The argument goes much deeper than that. (NFL's Take; Time Warner's Thoughts).

Who do you support? Do you plan to go out to watch the game? Does anyone actually care?

Leave your thoughts below...

I think the Cable Companies are rediculous for thinking about charging the fans to see the games on Tv! They will force more people than they think to a Satellite company where we can get it without having to pay more! I live far enough away from any Football Teams hometown that I can't make it to one every week - I get once a Year and I'm happy, but I do like to watch on Tv, and do NOT want to lose that...I'm with the NFL Network on this one - Cable needs to think about what they're doing, because this is one Fan / Customer they will lose if they make me pay for something I've had for years!!!
That's my 2 cents...Let the GREED GO people...Football is 5 months a year, that's not much. Offer the Fans the OPTION, pay more, to have ALL GAMES Televised in the season...Don't charge more for Every game.........that is Ludicrous!!

Like Ken said if this was a, "Ho-Hum," game nobody would be talking about it at all.  I think the Packers pull this one out.

This is just another reason to get DirecTV. Plus you can get the NFL Game package, I've had it every year it has been offered and would not be without it. DirecTV is the way to go, forget Time Warner.

I, being the pretend CEO of Time Warner, don't care about you little peons who watch football. I am only worried that my 650 million dollar bonus gets here in time for Christmas...  my son really wants a new island, and Santa never lets him down.  I will only have to raise the rates 5% this year!

I wait all year for NFL football to start. It's the only sport i enjoy watching on the cable channels.
It's a shame that a 55 year old guy has to either spend time at a bar or buy another type of network connection to watch a game that could be on a national channel on either sat.or sun.afternoon.
What ever happened to the saturday games???They usually are on around the hollidays.
