The Yankees are dumb if they resign him. One player will not win you the World Series. They got the offense they just need some pitching help. ARod will never win a World Series with the Yankees. Yankees: It just proves money doesnt win championships!!!!!!

We do not want the attitude that goes along with ARod.  Yankees can have him.

I was never really a baseball fan until last year when I discovered the YES channel.  After watching the Yankees last year and then again this year, it has been really great getting to watch Alex Rodriguez play so well this year.  It was hard to think that he would be gone next year, the last year at Yankee Stadium.  Hopefully the team will stay intact for next year so when my husband and I go to NYC, we will see the same fine playing we saw the end of this season.  I'm glad A-Rod's agent is out of the picture on this one.  He seems to be really greedy, making decisions that Alex wasn't really in agreement with so he could line his pockets.  Baseball is a business.  I don't fault anyone for getting the most he can for his talents.  Too many times you see sports figures fall apart in their later years and hopefully they have money set aside to take them through those difficult times.

How many more TV commercials will we all have to watch to pay this jerk?  They should pay baseball and football players the same way golfers earn their money.  Win and you get paid, loose and you get nothing.

Just as it was a great loss to lose Joe Torre, I think it would be another great loss to the Yankees to lose A-Rod, hopefully they can finalize all of their "talks" and he will stay in NY where he belongs!! I agree that sports figures shouldn't get paid as much as they do but the fact of the matter is ...if  the Yankees don't pay him what he wants some other team will. He's basically the "Michael Jordan" of baseball right now and if NY lets him slip away, they are foolish and alot of fans will be dissapointed.
