Hillary Clinton Gets Emotional on Campaign Trail

Campaigning in New Hampshire one day before the first-in-the-nation primary, Senator Hillary Clinton got emotional and had tears in her eyes as she spoke with voters about her passion for the country.

New York's Senator was sitting at a big table at the Cafe Espresso in Portsmouth, New Hampshire with 16 undecided voters, taking questions from the voters.

Then she took an unexpected question: "how do you do it?"

Clinton got emotional, saying "It's not easy, and I couldn't do it if I didn't passionately believe it was the right thing to do."

Definitely fake tears.  She is a salesman, getting ignorant people to believe her drama, and acting.

What has she accomplished for New York State?  I have no reason to vote for her as far as the presidency goes.  She has not proven a thing in New York.

The vultures have struck! Who in their right mind would want the office of the president? I believe that Hillary Clinton not only believes that she can make a difference, but she's the only one qualified to do so. The"Ice Queen" is crying fake tears? I don't think so. She knows what's ahead for her if she makes it all the way. I think she would make a brilliant president. After the past eight years, be careful what you wish for!

I'm amazed that people still can't see through Billary's crap.  One more time:  She came to New York for one reason only.  That was for major exposure for a future run at the presidency.  This woman is all about power and thats it.  She is threatened by 2 other Dems who are better people than she could ever think of being.  She got kicked in Iowa and is trailing worse in New Hampshire.  She is pulling out all the stops.  Crying?  Crying?  Theres no crying!  Theres no crying when running for the presidency!

I hope she never makes it as the Democratic nominee. I can see it now, its gets rough with with some foreign leader. She cries because it gets too hard... Yeah right playing the ole clinton games. Willy had "tears" while talking to "reverend" Jackson. Over his playing "cigar games" with Monica and others. The last candated that had "tears" was former Maine Sen. Edmund Muskie's tears during the 1972 New Hampshire campaign, credited with helping to bring down his front-running bid.

Bye Bye Billary

I guess I totally disagree with the people who have already commented.  The tears weren't fake.  You can tell she is passionate about what she does and when "billary" was in office our country was in much better shape than it is today.  I'm sure deep down it's tough for her to feel defeated.
I don't agree with everything they've done but I sure would like to see our present situation disappear.  Hopefully the Democrats can get us out of this mess of a poor economy, and a war that we are losing American lives daily and for what.

And for the gentlemen who've commented - maybe it's time for a female to run the country, afterall we run just about every home in this country!!

Such a sexist remark Denise. I have ran an household as a single father since 1988. My youngest is in college and still living home. I guess its ok to bash males, I never recieved a nickle of child support. Never asked or wanted a goverment handout. I worked a fulltime job plus a part time job almost fulltime. To save for a down payment for the house. That I raised MY kids into adults in. It didn't take "a village" to raise my kids to responsible adults. It took a parent that cared not "Hillary's vision of a village".  She is a double speaking lying liberal. That has not kept one promise of working for jobs in upstate New York. Last I knew the state is still bleeding from job losses. Opps, other than taxpayer supported jobs, IE state and local goverment jobs.

If its time for woman to be president, how about the best qualified. Without using  gender, religion or race as the qualifier?

I disagree Dave. You, unfortunately, are the exception. Denise was right on. Women do run just about every home in this country, and usually aren't recognized for it. As a single father, you of all people should know it's a thankless and unappreciated job.

Mike, A Thankless and unappreciated job? Its an honor my friend, walk in the shoes. If you ever walked in the shoes you would know its an honor. My comments still stand

I have to add, you are only a "victim" of your circumstances. If you think that you are.

Mike said:

If you see it as such an honor, Dave, why do you think you're entitled to a pat on the back for it? Why are you so offended that someone recognizes that raising kids is still normally considered "women's work" by 99% of the country?

The truth hurts, I guess?

BTW, When Joanie Mahoney was running for office, did you hear anyone saying that Bill Magnarelli or Ed Ryan should "just stay home and raise his kids"? THAT's sexism, my friend.  You have no clue.

The only thing she's passionate about is getting into the history books as more than a first lady, and Dems all over the country, just like those in NY state are falling for her act hook, line and sinker. PATHETIC!! She hasn't had an original thought in her life. And waiting to see how everyone else thinks before making up your mind is not being a leader. I know there are lots of people who would love to see a female president in their lifetime, but if Hillary is the best that's available, then who needs it?! And if you Clinton fanatics could kindly mop up your drool at the Fairgrounds at the end of every August, that would be a tremendous help!

Fake tears! I agree that there might be a women that would make a great president but not CLINTON! She has not anything for CNY.

For those of you arguing that Hillary hasn't done anything for CNY, you may have a valid argument -- just make sure you ask the same question for the other candidates. What has Obama done? How about Huckabee? Edwards?

Tom,
I agree that the other candidates haven't done anything for CNY.  But, they weren't a part of the New York State gov't either.  This so-called "Junior Senator"  is an absolute DISGRACE!  "Slick Willie" wants back in that White House just as bad as she does because of the perks.  He was holding a question/answer rally himself in New Hampshire this past weekend.  Whats up with that?  Thankfully, KJT, Mimi, Dave and the earlier responders are on to these 2.  I wonder why Billary didn't run for senator say in Alaska or Idaho?  Why New York?  We all know why.

I think it would be a different situation if she were addressing more male undecideds. Women have this inherent nature to think with their hearts more than their brains. That gets their emotions going. This is a fact of life that will not be changed for quite a long time... I do believe she was feeling rather overwhelmed and not pretending... I would like someday to be able to sit and discuss reality with the candidates, as we all should realize with a more educated population voting it would go a long way in electing a more educated and realistic government. With most of the voters voting for what they "feel" rather than the reality of the issues (that most candidates will not be specific about their plans) we will not have a realistic government until such time...

Regardless of the issues I will not be able to respect anyone that continues to stay with a mate that has cheated on them, especially the number of times that we know about... What about those that never got to the media? I question the people who do stand behind someone like that?

I know for a fact while she and bill where in office they were very rude to the military staff around them.  She didnt want military people in uniform around her.  I also know she made airforce one turn around because her daughter forgot something.  The pilot didnt want to do it but she forced him to.  She has no fricking idea the amount of planning it takes keep that bird aloft.  See the nice thing about being active duty military is alot of my older friends are retiring now and they are telling the stories from there era in the white house.  Most military people hate her and everything she stands for.  Well I personally dont hate her but I have fought wars with the people telling these stories and I dont like what I hear.    My only request to the public is vote for someone with a real plan in Iraq.  I just got back and I can tell you first hand its a mess.  I wish I could say more but thats all I feel comfortable saying.

Thanks

What is this fascination of having a "better time" under Bill Clinton? His time in office brought one of the worst asset bubbles in history - the country is still trying to recover from it. The recession brought on by Clinton is still haunting the country. Anyone remember "Lewinsky" - cigars and bj's in oval office? Hillary and Bill will do anything to win - including planting a few "sincere" moments. It reminds me of a quote from Jean Giraudoux "The secret of success is sincerity. Once you can fake that you've got it made."

I believe Hillary  is very caring about the plight that this country faces especially in regards to   inadequate  free health care to any American, civil liberties of people and the over-all well being of all our citizens,I sure wish all the potential candidates spoke as she does about the necessity for  the United States to address the slumping economy, poverty, and utter waste of tax  monies spent on a deplorable foreign policy. The problems facing our country sit on our doorstep not  overseas. It is time to tend to fields at home not abroad!

It’s wonderful that she is a caring person who wants a better America.  We all want a better America.  What tools does she bring with her that indicates she can do anything to influence an improvement in our future?  What has she done to improve New York in her 8 years as our senator?  Caring is not nearly enough qualifications to fill the job of President of the United States.

It amazes me how stupid our country is.  Women actually fell her pretending to cry, not one tear, and then sadly explaining how it hurts her so bad because she cares so much (what edwards just said on sat, must have polled well).  then she goes on to bash Obama.

Enjoy eight more years of corruption and nothing good being accomplished.  I'll be moving to Europe!

I will be impressed when I see a canidate walk into a tent in a war zone and address the soldiers fighting this useless war,  or a closed factory with unemployed workers and a plan to revitalize the economy, perhaps a trip to New Orleans to address a city still in crisis or pick any public housing development or public hospital and explain your plan to improve the conditions in this country.  I want to see a plan for healthcare to be provided for everyone and affordable, obtainable education for the citizens of this country.

I dont care if you are black, white, man or woman or if you shed tears everyday.....
It is time for a change and this country is in crisis!

People who come to this country come from depressed areas around the world, the immigration problem is not from canada or england.  Soon there will be no need to leave mexico because they will have a vast majority of our jobs anyway...

Its a problem on every political level.....  Its time for the citizens to speak out and demand that local, state and us leaders listen to the tax paying citizens.  They can hear if we speak up, they have tax payer provided insurance and can afford hearing aides.

Sorry,  I think the lady was probably exhausted, frustrated, and trying her best.  Whether you agree with her policies or not, she is dedicated to her campaign and what she wants to do.  I personally don't like some of her ideas, but then again, I don't like a lot of politician's ideas.

I think the country woud be better off for four years without a Congress or President - sometimes inaction is better, but I've never seen a Congresscritter that could resist the urge to just do something, regardless of how stupid it is.

I haven't heard Hillary or any other candidate tell me how they would establish the critical working relationship with Congress to accomplish any of this "Change" we keep hearing about.

Bush...Clinton...Bush...Clinton..??????  I don't care if you're dem...repub...or in between....isn't there anyone besides members from these two families who really qualifies to be president!  It's like hiring and firing two losing managers for the same baseball team on a rotating basis.  The real problem with politics is that you have to be filthy rich and powerful to even get a chance at the presidency.  They are so far removed from the middle and lower class problems of society that they don't have a clue what real life struggles are.   Before every election the voters hear the same worthless crap spewed from the polititians' mouths about how they will make things better...until they get elected!  As far as Hillary's tears.....who cares!  Real people with real problems cry every day as they face the struggles of every day life!  P.S.  -To the news media....we (the public) don't want to hear every day about the political campaigning TWO YEARS before the elections occur.  As soon as one election ends another campaign begins...why don't you have a tv channel designated just for the those who want to hear this crap every day of their lives?
