dante green has nba game now; observing the playoffs, his talent is comparable to 2nd team ability in the pros. its hard to convive young players to ignore the potential of making 1-2 million a year playing in the nba. the old rule of playing three years in college should apply today. or maybe we should have a special league for freshmen nba prospects ; let them play professionaly against the nba minor league teams to decide if they should go pro or play in college; colleges have to decide how they view highly talentede freshmen . maybe the responsibility lieas with the nba. 3 year eligibility has to be demanded . the influx of eurepians should discuorage these high scool graduates. and what about the value of an education ; is that diminished because of the money colleges make on college basketball ; end of part 1

How do you figure Donte Green has NBA game? All he has right now is athleticism, a low percentage three-point shot, and a penchant for making boneheaded plays. He won't do anything in the NBA for a while. He's the height of a power forward with no strength or post game. He won't be able to score unless he plays the 3, and at that position he's going to get eaten alive on defense. I think he'll spend some time in the D-League.

Wow Tom go back to school or something...your grammar is atrocious. As far as your comments go, they are pretty ridiculous as well. I think Mike hit it right on the head. I don't think Donte Green will ever be an impact professional basketball player. He shoots about 30% from the college 3 point line and would never be able to match up the elite NBA players playing the 3 spot. His D is also non-existent. Average player at best in a couple years.

i apolologise for the incorrect information. all the scouts at the combine are idiots. i think you two experts should coach a nba team. also, we wont miss him that much, two superior shooters are back and that mookie guy coming in, will fill in the rebounds.

The kid is from a bad area in Baltimore, he is cashing out PDQ. Could he have waited to go higher or be a lottery pick? Sure he could have, but you do not know the family situation.

Good riddance! He's one of the most overrated players in the history of SU basketball. I, for one, will not miss his poor shot selection, lack of defensive enthusiasm, lack of an inside game, lack of leadership, and that stupid,
vagina-esque dynasty hand gesture. I hope he enjoys getting chewed up in the NBA.
