Burglar Sentenced for Breaking into Judge's home

He was sentenced by Judge Walter Hafner for burglary in 2002? So what did he do when he got out of jail four years later? Broke into Judge Hafner's home, and stole more than $35,000 worth of items.

Michael Mason admitted he did it, and was sentenced Monday to eight years in prison, and five years of post-release supervision.

i admit this seems to be a very stupid man, but sometimes actions are dictated by alterior motives. we dont know the facts of his original conviction, but some revenge factor or association with immates may be a reason for this suicidal behavior. also, these are burglaries, not violent hardened criminals, the sentence initially seemed a bit HARSH; a situationthat needs more info ,to get an accurate read. 4 YEARS, THE FIRST TIME; did he steal the HOPE DIAMOND
