Spitzer Snaps at Reporter; Says "Get a Life"

Wednesday, Governor Spitzer scolded a Binghamton TV Reporter  who asked about his political troubles during a media event at a Binghamton-area high school.

WBNG's Justin Moss asked the last of three questions about the scandal involving Spitzer aides who schemed to discredit Senate Republican Leader Joe Bruno, Spitzer snapped "Get a life buddy."

The governor tried to return questioning to the topic of education, but Moss persisted. Spitzer spokesman Paul Larrabee said Moss was being "overly aggressive," and Spitzer wanted to focus on other issues.

What do you think? Good reaction by the governor or inappropriate? Leave your comments below...

Why is Spitzer ducking a question that was asked by a reporter? Its all relevent, the question needs to be answered. I see that nothing has changed in Albany, same ole politics.

As I read the reports of the entire event, the Governor asnwered the first question from Moss, and the second one, then made it clear that the topic was closed.  Mr. Moss, being the persistent, annoying journalist that so many aspire to, got what he deserved, although the Governor's response could have been a bit less terse.

The technique is hardly new, and I've seen it in a number of televised Presidential press conferences where the topics were simply cut off.

TO JOH CH
BEING IN THE PUBLIC EYE, NOT TO MENTION A POLITICIAN THAT WILL BE RUNNING FOR ANOTHER TERM HE SHOULD OF ACTED IN A MORE PROFESSIONAL WAY. I AM NOT SAYING THAT THIS REPORTER WAS RIGHT ONLY THAT IT COULD OF BEEN HANDLED IN A DIFFERENT WAY ( LIKE MAYBE SAYING NO COMMENT WHICH WOULD OF BEEN MORE PROFESSIONAL) AS FAR YOU THINKING THAT I SHOULD MOVE TO ANOTHER STATE BECAUSE I HAD A OPINION THAT YOU DID NOT LIKE WHAT MAKES YOUR OPINION THE ONLY ONE THAT COUNTS. I WISH YOU A GOOD DAY ALSO  BUT THE DIFFERENCE IS I REALLY MEAN IT.
