One person was killed, three others hurt after a crash involving a van and a tractor trailer on the Thruway in the Town of Salina. The victims were returning from Tuesday night's Yankees game.

The crash happened early Wednesday morning around 4:30 along the westbound lanes of the Thruway right near the Route 81 exit.

A truck passing the van noticed debris, and then saw the van rolling over. The passenger in the van, Bernard Petrosky, 53, of Syracuse, was not wearing a seatbelt and was thrown from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The family of four in the car was returning from Tuesday night's Yankees game.
