I also had the honor to attend the special olympics with my class - its is an experience like no other - those amazing children give 200% - and to have so many people there cheering them on - seeing the smiles and the pride on their faces is priceless. I am also privledged to work in a school setting where they give the olympians a true olympic send off with the olympic theme song playing over the loud speaker of the school, and all the elementary students lining the halls, holding signs and cheering on my amazing students as we left for the Special Olympics that day. Thank you for caring and sharing this amazing day with so many amazing students.
