Posted by Dan Cummings - After dealing with some fairly "heavy" topics over the last few weeks, I trust you'll be OK if my blog this week is light, short and simple:  a wish that all of you, our "extended family" of Newschannel 9 viewers and web-users, will have a blessed, healthy and happy Christmas season. And, a great new year.  In the course of a year's time, those of us who report the news have the opportunity to meet some wonderful people.  Many, many more wonderful people, like you...we never get a chance to meet personally...but you watch, you check out our website, and you stay connected with Newschannel 9 with a phone call or an e-mail.  We appreciate each and every one of those connections.
